Jennie Markovina
Master Stylist & Salon Director
Our director Jennie has been hairdressing industry for over 30 years.
Jennie has a unique flair for hair and is always keen on trying something new.
Jennie has completed extra studies in Trichology: The study of hair and scalp and has a great awareness of scalp conditions.
In Jennie's spare time when she isn't in the salon you'll find her with her beloved dog Suzie and her husband Steve, wining and dining at the newest and trendiest restaurants all over town!
Kate Ruiter
Senior Stylist
Kate has been in the industry since 2018.
Kate has multiple awards under her belt! She was awarded outstanding 1st, 2nd and 3rd year apprentice.
And in 2019 she came runner up apprentice of the year!
Kate loves creating blondes, balayage and styling curls.
Kate is always keeping her pulse on social media, keeping up with the latest trends whilst managing our Facebook and Instagram.
In Kate's downtime she loves spending time with her friends at the latest gigs and newest bars. Like Jennie she is an avid dog lover, obsessed with her crazy Jack Russel Rosie!
Ella Clarke
Senior Stylist
Ella has flown through her apprenticeship snatching up the award for school based apprentice of the year in 2021.
Ella has excelled through her education during Covid-19 lockdowns, teaching her to be quick on her feet and discover her true passion for hair!
On Ella's lunch break she is often caught on her phone watching and expanding her hair knowledge and keeping up with the latest hair trends!
Ella loves creating big bouncy blow waves, known as her speciality!
You may find Ella hanging out with friends and loved ones or binging the latest tv shows!
Geika Yaw-Yaw
Emerging Stylist
Our Emerging Hair Stylist Geika is currently undertaking her school based apprenticeship at Salon V'Darra!
Gayka is exceptional with her braiding skills, blow waves and styling!
Gayka is very creative and has a passion for arts and crafts!
In-between school and being at the salon Gayka has a love for hanging out with her friends and shopping for the latest fashion trends.
